How to rename your Breakfast Nook
Can you decorate your morning? Sure you can. Heck, you can decorate a pet ferret if you're so inclined, although I would send some men in white coats your way if I saw you do. "Morning Room" exist, they rock, and the rhetoric of my former high school teacher in English, " 'nuf said on the subject."
Lots of people have never even heard the phrase "little room" and those who habitually resident Envision a room somewhere in Bruce Wayne Manor, just side of the secret door leading to the Bat Cave. In fact, many homes built after the turn of last century have an area that can be used as a dining area. The difference between a dining room and a morning is mainly flowers, comfortable chairs, good coffee, and attitude pompous, so potentially you already have a room "the morning", he has an identity crisis. Now, if only you had a butler named Alfred and a secret den.
So, if you follow along, we can consider the room "morning" as the incarnation of the classiest who tried and true "breakfast nook. The event - of course - suppose you made less than $ 10, 000, 000.00 pounds sterling per annum. If you're a rich bastard, then the concept of "sitting room" may contain a different meaning.
The purpose of a lounge is to have a sanctuary within your home or a private institution - where people can sit, chat, relax, reflect, etc.. for hours day. Also, genetically speaking, it is in our human nature to seek the light of the sun rising in the morning to acclimatize our bodies and our minds for the day. In this regard, a small lounge is a perfect snack for a quick bite, have a coffee and gather your thoughts.
- Factoid: In my ongoing quest to inform and educate, I came to discover that the rooms are in the morning - mostly - designed for use morning. I just say, sweet reader, I leave no stone unturned, no weeds found.
So now if you're still not clear what is a morning room, I'll quote my 16 year old son and then ... 'nuf said on the subject.
"It's kind of like ... .. just a place where you can relax and Munch before school.
So how do you deal properly and decorate room morning? Of course it all boils down to Your Own personal style, but there are a few things to note:
- Colors darker wall absorbs sunlight and heat, so they can be useful to keep your customers to feel as if they were sitting inside a solar flare. The opposite can be said for your choice of color of the furniture because the constant sunlight can warm a seat as a dark pan.
- Any graphic visual nuances want to have some darker, perhaps even textures, to make it more characteristic in the natural light that surrounds it.
- Curtains - if at all necessary - should be simple and flexible, with a translucent quality. This can be achieved using any decorative fabric woven open.
- Some high light, plants can give you that "outdoors" feel, should you be so inclined. Large hydro floor works if your "little corner is on a larger scale. Plants like the Norfolk Island Pine, Weeping fig, even Fiddle-leaved Fig plants can work well in a bright rays sun as accent pieces. Otherwise, you can get a similar feeling using a good soft toned * flower arrangement as a part Central to your table.
A small lounge is easy to decorate as long as you start defining it as a "mini-room Dining for sun worship. You will also need an appropriate table - I prefer smallish - with a little more comfortable chairs around it. I would not go to a table that is too high vertically, but rather try to find something in between height dining table and height of the coffee table. I saw a few rooms very attractive morning with typical dining room chairs used, but my preference personal is bargain hunting for some good high seated chair cushions. These are not the soft chairs and soft flop you are in a room master or parlor, but a sort of hybrid dining chair that adds a lot of padding and some wells "in" value. They can be found at Furniture Gallery is all salt. I keep harping on the chairs because seating is one of the most important elements of a good "small Club ". It should be more comfortable than a set of typical dining room, and you should be able to sit upright for a spot of tea and comfortable when leaning back to ponder the day ahead.
Your room will certainly want morning facing the rising sun, failing to mention a small salon and get a machine with light therapy. (Just kidding, I think) Assuming your room is guided to glory by the rising the sun, it will be well lit by natural light source, which creates two potentially negative effects on the room:
- Temperature: sunlight produces a little heat too, more so when accumulated in small spaces. You'll want to try and offset this with a powerful, yet quiet fan or small air conditioning unit. Fans floor model, are usually miserable in a small room that use often results in a napkin blowing Festival Of Doom. Unless you're willing to tie everything into the bottom corner, miss a fan for cooling permanent. It's just not really conducive to a relaxing morning coffee when you hunt around the sports section. Get your cardio workout in the gym, I say.
- With natural light, cosmetic imperfections are amplified at least 436, 799 (and 1/3rd) times. OK, I'm not so sure statistics, but I can tell you that the discoloration or flaking paint a bowl of fruit seem to be a Rock Star Spotlight on it in a morning room. Room dust can also disturb your quiet morning, as he seems just to hang in the air, which reflects sunlight and you recalling just exactly what is landing on your breakfast bagel and eggs. As such, you want to keep the room well maintained and dust as possible.
* For full disclosure, I must say that when I start decorating prowess, the rule is to never use of real flowers in small spaces, using the corners as the first example. Flower arrangements can produce pollen and sinus irritation, not the best way for someone to start their day. If you have invited to the occasion and you do not want to keep a dish of candy antihistamines close, losing the credit card already FTD. Flowers can also significantly add to the dust in a small region, even when is maintained to perfection. So, if you choose to go the route of having a floral arrangement, spend a little more and get a deal Nice fake flower and put some aromatherapy candles around for the scent of lavender, jasmine, or my personal favorite, burgamot.
Dollars to donuts says that if you have a individual private house there is a box available that you can designate a room "the morning". If not, well, no loss really, after all, the light Solar is largely overestimated. (Just kidding again, I think) If you want to pause to eat toast on the way to work, however, recognizes your house for one pointing up to the big ball, light and bright in the sky, and start your creativity to Build Your own little piece of Nirvana morning. Me, I hate mornings, even when they come in the afternoon. I'll stick to the cave of bats, thank you very much.
